About my works
My late father spent the years 1942-1945 struggling for his life as a partisan in the forests of Eastern Europe. He was actually the youngest partisan in the partisan combat unites and his work was documented in literature. I grew up in the light, or rather – in the shade of his stories. As an artist, I embarked upon a journey to unfold the manner, in which my father and I myself perceived the memory of the events of the Holocaust. As a second-generation Holocaust survivor, I engage in memory processing. It is a journey of survival and its purpose is to illustrate an imaginary memory created from my father's stories.
